Ugggh..what a bunch of tools
Check this fired. Freaking lady works PART TIME to boot. 5.00 says she will have 100 job offers before the weekend at double if not triple her salary. Just like Dawn (BBC office) and Pam (USA Version) said "I don't think a little girl says I want to be a receptionist when I get older. This woman is gonna show how moronic people can be.

This is why the media is so screwed up. Who knows what this woman's work record was really like. The company can't publicly talk about it, but she can, so the media runs with the story with the 'evil boss' angle and we never get the other side. Did she call on the morning of the 17th? I bet she did not. I hate to sound cold, but it sounds like she's to blame in this situation. If I was the parent of 3 and expected to hold down the fort while my spouse was away I would not take ANY chances with my job. She took a chance and blew off going to work on the 17th and she paid the price. Why would the company fire her without good reason? It's going to cost them a lot of time and money to find and train a new person.
Ugh...this really boils my blood..and one last thing from my evil side;
"40-year-old mother of three and grandmother of three"
Somehow this leads me to think this family does not have a lot of discussions about responsible decision making!
