"Very special guests stars on 'The Office'" ... you guys are proving my point about the superiority of the UK version ... the US one is slipping into cliche ... I am going to watch for Cher or someone to make that "very special episode" or someone will have a baby ... I take this as victory!
i disagree, pog. it's more of an acknowledgement about how good the american office has gotten that they're willing to acknowledge it by cross-visiting.
if the show sucked, you wouldn't catch the british cast within 1000 miles of it.
i think you need to watch it more to get a sense of how well they're doing. there's really no need to compare the 2, they're different beasts...

I love both versions for different reasons and I know there are people out there who just won't give the US version a chance.
ANY kind of cross-over, spin-off, etc is the kiss of death...FWIW the US version is better anyway. The English "Pam" is gross!
