here are my rules to "survive" the 6 to 12 inches..

Panic...freak out..do whatever it takes to make sure everyone around you realize how much this "storm" is going to put you out.
Next
Drive a complete and total asshole. I mean more than usual. For god sake why are there SO MANY PEOPLE On the Road going 21 MPH?! If you drive an SUV it doesn't mean it has 4 wheel drive..keep that in mind.
Call a loved one and make sure you have plenty of
You know..the "staples".
It's not even 10am and if I hear one more "We are LIVE" from the sand lots, or at the grocery store where some asshat has to tell me that the bread and milk are almost over..don't they realize I am going to panic???!!!!!!!!!!

You'd hate me then, I've been bitching since yesterday morning.
I went out and got the "staples" this morning before a flake was on the ground and surprisingly the grocery store was not busy.
Hah 21 mph would have been FABULOUS!!!!
41 miles 3:45 that's right people 10.9 mph average speed!!!
With all the news about the snow coming why in the HELL were people running out of gas on the highways yesterday???
It was sunny and 78 were I was :)
i can't go a day without my bread and milk. i must stockpile it now. they never show the other sections of the store where the people are stocking up on beer & chips- that would be a funny interview.
